Short Description:

The Fittings Ferrules offer UHPLC connection for 1/16" and 1/32" PEEKsil tubing- depending on the tubing I.D. For example, 50μm PEEK tubing can be hand tightened to over 20,000 psi. These fittings are ideal for making Nano HPLC and UHPLC connections and easily fit into tight spaces such as injection valves, column couplers, sample loops and column ovens.

UHPLCS offer HPLC column connectors, male and female adapters as well as adapters to connect standard LC fittings to standard LC ports. The 100% PEEK flowpath makes UHPLCS PRRK adapters usable with most common prganic and inorganic HPLC splvents without risking corrosion, metal contamination, or protein dagradation that might occur with stainless steel.

PEEK (<400 bar System Pressure) fittings are ideal where:

• Connections are changed frequently, i.e. connecting columns

• Pressure is less critical

Damage to the fitting
➔ Be careful when tightening fittings. Overtightening causes permanent damage to the fitting ferrules and will result in leaks. Fingertight plus 1/4 turn is sufficient to provide a pressure tight seal.
